The Great Artesian Basin Sustainability Initiative (GABSI) has been established to improve groundwater management and use from the Great Artesian Basin through artesian bore rehabilitation and bore drain replacement works. The required materials are to be used in water reticulation schemes for replacing bore drains, under the Great Artesian Basin Sustainability Initiative in south west Queensland.
