The Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women (the department) is committed to delivering Women's Shelters for women and children experiencing domestic and family violence. The establishment of the new Women’s Shelters will increase the capacity of the service system in South East Queensland and across the state to provide safe accommodation and support for victims of violence
The department is seeking establishment of two new women’s shelters and mobile support services for up to five years in
1. Caboolture; and
2. Gold Coast;
Service delivery will be implemented in two stages as per requirement.
Stage 1 - Mobile Support Service
Stage 2 - Women's Shelter and Mobile Support Service
