Queensland Rail experiences a number of incidents across the network each year involving persons being struck by trains.  In some cases, these incidents result in fatalities.  In order to restore network services, Queensland Rail must undertake a forensic clean-up of any scene where a person has been struck by a train, particularly those where it has resulted in a fatality. There is a requirement for Queensland Rail to establish a Panel of Forensic Clean-up Providers in order to clean our network and infrastructure following on incidents.
