Assessment of current state and future direction of Queensland Academy of Sport
The Department of Housing and Public Works (Sport and Recreation Services) requires a supplier to undertake an assessment of how the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) is internally operating, governance and whether it is achieving its goals. The review will also include an assessment of external opportunities such as market trends that are shaping high performance.
The project will include a review of:
internal operations of the QAS including human resources
governance and structure review
an assessment of national/international market trends shaping high performance sport and other emerging trends (technology, generational, professionalisation of women’s sport)
leadership requirements for a ‘new’ QAS including remuneration requirements to attract relevant applicants
synergies or potential alignment with National Sport Plan, Outcomes of the National Institute Network review and the Sport and Active Recreation Strategy.
