Design and Construction of New River Access Infrastructure at Fort Lytton National Park
Fort Lytton National Park is a historic site which encompasses both the military history of the fort and the Lytton Quarantine Station. The historic quarantine station jetty provided the only site access for larger vessels operating on the Brisbane River and Moreton Bay. The jetty has been closed for over 14 years. This has restricted the site’s visitation and its potential for future development as a tourist and educational opportunity for the area.
The objective of the project is to construct a new jetty facility at the Lytton Quarantine Station to facilitate commercial and public access from the river to the site.
