Supply and Delivery of Data Loggers for Scientific Monitoring

The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, acting through the National Red Imported Fire Ant Eradication Program (NRIFAEP), intends to utilise additional data logging equipment to obtain better representation of temperatures in several areas in South East Queensland where the Program operates.

The measurement unit that NRIFAEP currently uses is the TPS WP-87 multi-channel logging thermometer.

The unit is secured in a locked aluminium box to protect it from the environment, fauna and livestock.

NRIFAEP intends to purchase up to 4 data logger units (including associated solar kits and sensors and accessories) within a 12 month period.
