| The Department of Justice and Attorney-General (the Department) is seeking quotes for the delivery of an independent evaluation of the implementation of the statewide coronial assistance services.
In May 2017, Caxton Legal Centre (Caxton), in partnership with the Townsville Community Legal Service (TCLS), was allocated funding to deliver the services over 2016-20.
The services provide assistance to grieving families through direct service provision and coordination of pro bono services. Recommendations delivered through the evaluation will inform their continuous improvement and may also inform future decisions on providing sustainable long-term funding.
The proposed budget for the evaluation is $48,750.
