Service and Maintenance of the Reverse Osmosis Systems and Water Polishers at the Health Food Science Precinct

The servicing and maintenance of the three Reverse Osmosis Systems in Blocks 10,11 and 12 and the eight Water Polisher Units in Blocks 10 and 12 consists of:
Monthly Service and Maintenance
The following service and maintenance tasks to be performed in this project are to include but are not limited to:
a) The monthly servicing of the Elix 100 Water Purification Systems in Blocks 10, 11 and 12.
b) The monthly servicing of the Milli-Q Advantage A10 Water Purification Systems in the Block 10 and 12 laboratories and the Milli-Q Reference Water Purification System in the Block 10 laboratory.
c) The following shall be performed during each monthly visit:
a. Mechanical check and adjustment of the high purity water system
• All associated pumps
• Solenoid valves
• Low pressure switches
• Pressure gauges
• Flow rates
• Water quality
• Pressure
b. Electrical check of Control Systems
• Control panel and display functions
• Protection devices (low pressure shut-off)
• Cycling functions
• Controls
Annual Maintenance (As required)
The following service and maintenance tasks to be performed in this project are to include but not limited to:
• Replace all internal tubing
• Replace internal fittings and ‘O’ rings
• Replace solenoid valves coils if required
• Replace UV lamp/s if required
• Replace RO membrane/s if required
• Replace EDI modules if required
• Equipment Condition assessment
Reporting
• This will entail the provision of service reports to the Facility Manager detailing what work was performed and any potential issues and/or future costs after each scheduled service.
• All personnel are to contact by telephone and/or email either the Facility Manager or Facility Maintenance Officer two business days prior to visiting the site.
• Service reports for the equipment serviced or repaired is to be supplied to either the Facility Manager or the Facility Maintenance Officer at the completion of the service or repair.

The Supplier is required to undertake the Queensland Health Forensic and Scientific Services induction prior to commencing any work on the site.
