Design Services for St. Helena Island Silos Complex Project
The scope for this project includes:
• The preparation of solutions/recommendations and design, construction documentation and specifications for the construction of new works:
o A free standing roof on Silo #3 to match the historic form of the silo structures on St Helena Island.
o Free standing fall prevention options/solutions for Silo #1 and Silo #2 (and potentially Silo #3).
o Viewing platform (potentiially leading to a small gangway for Silo #3).
o Footbridge across Silo #1 (potentailly an option instead of the gangway on Silo #2).
o Public barrier fencing required including at the top of the adjacent historic boiler.
o All construction documentation is to be certified by a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
