|
The scope of works for this Design & Construct contract being the “Early Works” (Early Works Project) is as follows:
- Removal of HAZMAT from site
- Relocate existing in ground services
- Demolition of existing Frank White Building and Annex
- Installation of a new mains gas from Cooper Road to Staff House Road
- Installation and connection of the new storm water and sewer including diversion
- Installation of below ground services conduits
- Installation and connection of a new fire main
- Installation of piles for the retiming wall – including shotcrete face and piling caps and associated works
- Installation of piles under the lift core (excluding pile caps)
- Relocate the existing Hawken water meter and Pentice water meter
- Co-ordination of UQ contractor to install the new campus gas mains
- Maintenance of the fire egress routes from / to the adjacent Prentice Building and Mansergh Shaw Building for the duration of the project
