Principal Contractor for the Joyce Palmer Health Service Mortuary and Vehicle Shelter Upgrades
The Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) wishes to invite tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake construction works at Joyce Palmer Health Service, Mango Avenue, Palm Island QLD 4816. The purpose of this project is to refurbish and expand the mortuary services to meet contemporary standards at the facility and also deliver a new vehicle shelter that will secure and house the mobile clinic that is operated by the Health Service.
This project is designated as an indigenous project in accordance to the Queensland Government Building and Construction Training Policy.
There is a strong preference to engage local contractors and suppliers based within the THHS Region. In compliance with the Queensland Procurement Policy 2018 the evaluation of this tender will include a local benefits assessment.
MANDATORY SITE VISIT: A mandatory site visit has been allocated for Monday 8th October at 9:30am.
