| The University of Queensland (“UQ” “we” or “us”) seeks offers for the supply of software and software lifecycle management services that will assist UQ to streamline its software procurement and management processes. UQ is seeking offers from suppliers with capabilities to:
• advise the UQ staff and research higher degree students (UQ community) in relation to software product and licensing options;
• advise the UQ community in relation to software usage;
• provide a business to business services for purchasing software via UQ’s chosen catalogue-based electronic procurement marketplace;
• manage the software lifecycle, including through integration with UQ’s chosen software asset management tool; and
• provide software related contract management services.
The focus of this ITO is the procurement of ad hoc commercial off the shelf software licences (ad hoc software). UQ’s site licences, enterprise licenses, negotiated solution-based licences and other software UQ may exclude from time to time, are outside the scope of this ITO. UQ purchases approximately 380 different ad hoc software products, over approximately 1,200 transactions, with an annual spend of approximately $3.8 million. UQ is seeking a preferred supplier for an initial 1 year term with the option to extend for up to a maximum of 3 years. However, UQ is not seeking an exclusive supply arrangement and UQ may from time to time acquire software and related products and services from other vendors and by any other means.
