The Department of Child Safety, Youth and Women is seeking to trial a service in Northern Peninsular Area to deliver community awareness and education activities and work with relevant stakeholders in preventing sexual violence and promoting early intervention with young people from the age of 12 upwards. Funding available for the trial service is up to $150,000 per annum (excl. GST) for up to two years.
In addition, the service will be required to gather research/evidence to determine the incidence, nature and extent of sexual violence between young people, including harassment and bullying, and explore the need for a youth sexual violence support service in the area, and what that service response would look like to meet community need.
Quotes are invited by the State of Queensland, acting through the department for the delivery of a youth sexual violence service in the Service Outlet Location identified in Part B of the RFQ document.
