Flora and Fauna Survey services at Chinchilla

A fauna / flora / RE / TEC survey and supporting report and data is required to minimise the impact of proposed activities on listed species and vegetation. As a minimum the survey and report shall comply with the requirements of the Flora Survey Guidelines – Protected Plants document and any additional requirements under the EPBC Act 1999. A 100m buffer around the potentially impacted area is not required.

The objectives of this survey are to:

1)    Identify, and map the extent of, any listed plants (EVNT plants under the Nature Conservation Act 1992 and the Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Act 1999) that may be present;

2)    Identify, and map the extent of, the presence of any of the EPBC listed fauna, from the below table, in the potential area of impact; 

3)    Identify and map the extent of REs and TECs within the potential area of impact;

4)    The survey report will outline any permit requirements (under the EPBC, NCA and VMA “acts”) and potential measures to minimise impacts on identified ecosystems and species.
