Mackay Regional Council (MRC) shares an effluent rising main with CSR Plane Creek Sugar Mill. In the past 5 years, a number of breakages have occurred on the section of main located in Hoey Street. This project involves the installation of approximately 650 m of Ø200 rising main in a easement that follows the rail corridor to the east of its current alignment. The project is located in Sarina, approximately one kilometre east of the Central Business District (CBD), near the Sarina Sewerage Treatment Plant
