River Street Trunk Water Mains (Mangrove Road - Wood Street)
Mackay Regional Council (MRC) is upgrading the water mains in River Street to allow the continual development of high density residential buildings in this area. This project involves the installation of approximately 600m of Ø300 DICL water main, 400m of Ø200 mPVC water main, 72m of Ø150 - Ø100 mPVC water main for connection to existing mains and small service installations.
The project is located in the Central Business District (CBD) of Mackay, and the extents of the installation will be between Mangrove Road and Wood Street along River Street.
