Queensland University of Technology (QUT) has a requirement for a Higher Degree Research (HDR) Student Management system enabling delivery of QUT’s vision for transformation to a user centric, end-to-end candidature management solution. QUT has prepared this Request for Offer (RFO) with a view to fulfilling QUT’s requirements in this regard.
QUT has defined a blueprint with a vision which outlines our desire to deliver innovative research degree/s and provide a high level of pastoral care to support HDR students in developing entrepreneurial, creative- and design-led thinking, and management skills for careers in research and outside of academia. With specific objectives to:
• Increase the proportion of high quality international HDR students.
• Transform QUT’s HDR training through cohort-based, industry focused programs that prepare students as agents of change in the broader economy.
• Increase the HDR student share of the total student population.
QUT has an opportunity to reimagine and transform its Research Management solutions architecture to provide better end-to-end support across the research and research training lifecycle; the HDR Student Management system is one part of this broader reimagining.
The Research Management Solution program aims to implement a Research Management Solution that will ensure that QUT can effectively and efficiently undertake its research management and support functions. The full Research Management Solution must have improved functionality and integration with other corporate systems to empower and enhance productivity across our research academic and research support administration stakeholders, as an agile, web based, highly integrated solution.
QUT's requirements are detailed in the RFO documentation, Annexure 2 Brief to Respondents.
