Provision of System Integration Services for Biodiversity Systems Modernisation Project
The Department of Environment and Science (DES) is seeking quotations from suppliers to assist the Biodiversity Systems Modernisation Project, by providing suitably qualified contractor/s to provide services automation of the nightly processing of images for the purposes of storage, backup, cataloguing, publishing, reporting and some quality checks.
The successful service will provide advanced skills in the following technologies:
A suitable scripting language (e.g. Python, Powershell, etc)
Cloud storage/cloud storage APIs
Interfacing with on premise local storage
Interfacing with offsite tape backup
SQL Server database querying of specimen data
Windows 10 (PC)
The successful service will be achieved within a four (4) week timeframe with a target of 30 June 2019.
