An assessment of the department’s readiness is required to support the implementation of the waste levy as of 1 July 2019. The intent of this engagement is to adopt an evidence based approach in verifying that the department can operationally support the waste levy implementation from 1 July 2019. Waste reform has been identified as an key deliverable by the Department Delivery Office.
