The Cape York Peninsula Tenure Resolution Program (the Program) within the Department of Environment and Science has been in a contractual arrangement with Jabalbina Yalanji Aboriginal Corporation since June 2016. The contract is to convert the Daintree, Hope Islands, Ngalba Bulal, and Black Mountain National Parks to Aboriginal land and dedicate them as national park (Cape York Peninsula Aboriginal Land).
