| eHealth Queensland is seeking proposals for developing and testing a digital solution to assist Indigenous children to learn ways to help manage their own health, through gamification. We are looking to help address health literacy in Indigenous kids by developing a health education resource that is interactive and promotes learning through an online gaming space.
This culturally appropriate educational gaming space will use traditional indigenous games for children to learn how to manage their own health and could provide life-long health benefits and assist in Closing the Gap in health outcomes for Indigenous people.
This project will deliver a proof-of-concept Minimum Viable Product web-based gaming space and some initial games in relation to oral health care, obesity and other health conditions experienced by Indigenous children.
