Contaminated Land Technical Advisory Service
  1. Technical Advisory Services

To support the development of the contaminated land site assessment program and the subsequent reporting of assessment findings, a suitably qualified person in contaminated land auditing is being engaged to provide technical advisory services to the Department.

This technical advice will relate to preliminary and detailed site assessments, SAQP and any other work proposed or undertaken by a suitably qualified person so as to ensure the data captured is reported in an appropriate format and with appropriate data quality criteria. It is intended that the captured data will be later used as supporting information for a site suitability statement, contaminated land investigation document or site management plan (following completion of required site assessments).

All technical advice is to be provided in a timely fashion so as to enable the continued progress of the works program. All timeframes will be determined and agreed with the Customer’s Project Manager following each request for technical advice.

It is expected that on average, the commitment required by the Successful Offeror will be three (3) hours per month.  Any required meetings may be in person at a Brisbane CBD location (where practical) or via teleconference.

A site inspection, anticipated to take one (1) full day onsite plus travel, will be completed early following the contract award so as to enable the successful supplier to become familiar with the site.
