Wolfram Camp Revegetation Services
  1. Revegetation Assessment and Development of a Revegetation Plan  

The Supplier will investigate, assess and recommend solutions to achieve a safe and stable landform, which limits erosion from site, through development of a resilient and self-sustaining vegetation cover. It is intended to utilise local and native species to the maximum extent achievable.

As a minimum, the Supplier will:

  1. Review baseline data collection for appropriate plant species to be used in revegetation/direct seeding.
  2. Undertake a site survey to determine revegetation zones based on soil and substrate types and potential to support vegetation after revegetation. 
  3. Draft a preliminary map of the site showing revegetation zones. 
  4. Investigate feasibility of setting up small scale plant nursery on site. 
  5. Assess the need for commencing a seed collection program and make recommendations on the requirements, deliverables and timings of such a program.
    1. It is envisaged that should such a program be recommended, Traditional Owner representatives would be used in the seed collection program.
  6. Design appropriate strategies and timing for revegetation and other treatments for each revegetation zone.
  7. Undertake any other activities required in order to inform a successful Revegetation Plan for the site.
  8. Combine findings of all investigative works into a final Revegetation Plan for the site that is:
    1. site specific;
    2. incorporates local knowledge;
    3. contains suitable quality control measures;
    4. is practical and cost effective; and
    5. complies with all relevant legislative requirements.
  9. The final Revegetation Plan (Deliverable 1), inclusive of Customer review and comments will be delivered by 20 December 2019.

2. Technical Advisory Services 

Provide technical revegetation advice and expertise to support ongoing remediation activities for the site. The advice and expertise required will include:

  1. Provide input and assistance towards the procurement associated with goods and items to be purchased externally (seed, mulch, and amelioration products);
  2. Provide inputs and assistance with procurement associated with services to be purchased externally (seed collection, tubestock, onsite planting, maintenance contract).
  3. Provide quality control and inspection of the goods received, and services being undertaken by others, throughout the implementation of the Revegetation Plan; and provide advice and recommendations for improvement where necessary.
  4. Should a seed collection program be commenced, provide technical advice, training and supervision services to those engaged to provide seed collection services.
  5. Any other activities agreed between both parties, which is relevant to the success of the Revegetation works.

Deliverable 2 works shall be on an as-requested / as-agreed basis, up to 100 hours total.

For Deliverable 2, a timesheet is to be maintained daily outlining tasks undertaken and hours expended, in addition to the cumulative total hours spent vs contract limit. Timesheets are to be submitted weekly for approval, and invoices submitted monthly together with the approved timesheets.
