The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a solid roof structure over existing multi-purpose sports court and the refurbishment of the sports surface at Clermont State High School, located at 1 Kitchener St, Clermont QLD 4721as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.
The project includes demolition of part of the existing tennis court, rebuilding the court in a new orientation with new multi-purpose sports surface and line marking and the design and construction of a new solid roof structure over the new courts. The position of the site is at the side of the school with reasonable site access and working space. All works are to be completed by the end of January 2020.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
• Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
