The University of Queensland (UQ) has a significant social media ecosystem that has developed over time with limited governance, strategic direction or consistent tools for management and performance monitoring.
UQ is looking to engage an experienced consultant to work in partnership with the marketing and communication organisational unit and its extensive stakeholders to develop a comprehensive social media strategy to support achievement of its business objectives.
Social Media is a key channel to reach the full suite of UQ stakeholders. The purpose of this RFQ is to engage a consultant to deliver a comprehensive strategy that articulates:
1. The platforms that UQ will engage on,
2. Which audience each channel or accounts within a channel will target
3. How that channel should be operated (earned or paid)
4. How they are best monitored and managed (including community engagement)
