Communities in Transition Pilot Program - Economic and Policy Analysis
The Department is seeking the support of Deloitte Access Economics to consider – and undertake a broader contextual economic and policy analysis – of the Communities in Transition Pilot Program and the identified economic opportunities for the selected regions.
Specifically, the Department is seeking support to help consider the economic and policy application of the Communities in Transition Pilot Program both in its process and in the proposed roadmaps/business cases put forward by the program. In doing so, the Department is seeking an elucidated policy framework to engage with other key government agencies, via a Department presentation to the Leadership Board – and to assist in determining the appropriate policy process to carry forward across government.
The Communities in Transition Pilot Program is part of a suite of actions to work with regional communities to transition to a clean growth economy, under the Queensland Climate Transition Strategy and Our Future State: Advancing Queensland’s Priorities.
