Demolition and Removal of Processing Plant and Associated Infrastructure
The Contractor is to develop and propose the method by which all equipment, materials and scrap will be dismantled, removed and/or salvaged. All methods must be to the Principal’s satisfaction and will require Principal approval. Furthermore, the Contractor must:
Be appointed as the principal contractor for the Construction Project as per s292 and s293 of the Workplace Health and Safety Act 2011 (WHS Act) and provide evidence to demonstrate capability to act as the principal contractor.
Provide the Principal prior to mobilisation:
Return the executed Principal Contractor Appointment Form to the Principal identifying the work area the Contractor will have management and control of for the duration of the work.
Project Management Plan;
Baselined schedule including key milestones and practical completion date;
Workplace Health and Safety Management Plan (WHSMP) identifying all high risk construction work (s291 WHS Act) and compliance to principal contractor duties (Part 6.4 WHS Act);
Environmental Management Plan;
Project risk assessment (HSEQ) and associated risk register;
All Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) for high risk construction work);
Safe Work Procedures (SWP/JSA’s/SWMS) relevant to contract
Copies of all relevant high risk work licenses and competencies;
Plant risk assessment for all Contractor Plant;
Site establishment and mobilisation plan;
Dismantling/demolition/decontamination/disposal plan demonstrating compliance with relevant Codes of Practice nominated in s1.3.4 of this Schedule.
Standard operating procedures (or equivalent) for tasks.

site specific induction document
Principal Contractor’s site signage plan
HSEQ audit and inspection program
Evidence of all relevant workers competencies and licenses, including first aid.
Alcohol and drug testing program and procedure, with relevant competencies of competent person undertaking the testing.
details of incident and hazard reporting, investigation and corrective action procedures.
Remove and dispose of residual contaminants from the plant and associated infrastructure in a way that does not contaminate the land and that complies with regulatory requirements
