Provision of Training Package Design for Community Corrections
The Supplier will design the suite of training packages for use towards the professional development of Community Corrections staff. A total of five (5) training packages will be developed for use across different groups as detailed below:
Upfront face-to-face training of commencing case management staff
On-the-job training of newly appointed staff
Role Specific Training
Elective training for nominated staff
Mixed-mode training for all existing staff
Separate to the above core requirements as Professional Practice Supervision package.
The Supplier will provide the following:
Microsoft PowerPoint files suitable for use in trainings consistent with QCS Learning Management Systems which are required to be Shared Content Object Reference Model complaint;
Training manual files suitable for use by training participants and facilitators;
Assessment tasks suitable for gauging the comprehension and competency of training participants; and
Mapping the Certificate 4 in Correctional Practice (Community Corrections) to the newly developed curriculum and assessment requirements
Deliverables for Professional Practice Supervision Package:
build a Practice Leader model to achieve best practice case management within the field;
provide a model that can support the implementation of developed training curriculums as they are developed and rolled out allowing for feedback of such products;
provide costings for delivery (inclusive of staff) for Practice Leaders/support across QCS;
the model must increase the focus of staff on soft skills with the use of observed practices; and
