The service will work with at risk young people who are at risk of disconnection to
involve them in planning, designing, implementing and evaluating projects aimed
at increasing their community participation and reducing youth crime.
Projects and activities should be aimed at connecting young people to their
community and actively involve them in project identification and planning to
address their areas of interest and concerns. Young people should also be
encouraged to proactively identify ways to ensure project success and develop their
skills and confidence during the delivery of the project.
