Queensland Rail is committed to keeping the community informed about any of its activities which may cause an impact or disruption.
Queensland Rail currently notifies affected residents and businesses of its work activities for the following reasons:
• Maintenance activities – scheduled ongoing program of network maintenance, business as usual (BAU) activities, often at locations within the rail corridor, between stations
• Planned track closures – 24/7 works undertaken during scheduled line closures, often requiring notices to whole/part rail corridors (lines)
• Project works – such as scheduled night works at a station.
Community and customer notification is managed by Queensland Rail’s Stakeholder Engagement Communications (SEC) team.
Queensland Rail is seeking a supplier to provide print production (including folding) and distribution (letterbox drop) of community notifications to support its ongoing preventative maintenance program and project delivery throughout the Citytrain network (SEQ) as well as regional Queensland.
