| Gympie Regional Council (GRC) is calling for quotations from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to provide and implement a Ticketing Management Solution (i.e. “the Solution”) which is fit-for-purpose in relation to Council’s business requirements and regional events.
GRC aims to attract, retain and nurture events that deliver social and economic benefit for the Gympie region, particularly in the high priority areas of arts and culture, sport, food and wine, music and business events. Gympie Venues and Events produce, promote and deliver exhibitions and events, including signature and other major events and festivals, celebrations, various productions, Australia Day festivities, Citizenship ceremonies, conferences and special functions on behalf of GRC.
Gympie Venues and Events is responsible for the management and activation of the following:
• Gympie Civic Centre
• The Pavilion and Cooloola Sports Centre
• Gympie Regional Gallery
• Community Halls across the region
• Major events
The Gympie Venues and Events team will be responsible for event-related bookings and ticket sales. GRC runs both free and paid events where bookings and tickets are required.
Council currently uses a system for ticketing on an as-needed basis, but is seeking to explore further options to provide the detailed analytics and sales revenue tracking, required by Council.
Quotations must be submitted via the QTenders website https://www.hpw.qld.gov.au/qtenders/ no later than 2pm Thursday 7 February 2019.
