Develop a guideline for on-road kerb-side separated bicycle lanes
Transport and Main Roads requires a consultant to develop a guideline on protected bicycle lanes.
The objectives for engaging a consultant are: - Develop a defined hierarchy of all types of on-road kerb-side separated bike lane facilities for use on State Controlled Roads. This should include kerb-running bike lanes, protected bike lanes and grade separated cycle track type facilities. - Create typical layout & intersection design for all hierarchy types (Standard Drawings) - Develop a ‘site specification’ for a possible pilot project for a protected bike lane facility in Queensland
