Review of Rural & Rural Residential Zoning
Council is calling for quotations from suitably qualified and experienced contractors/suppliers to
undertake a review of the Rural and Rural Residential zoned land across the Gympie region and
provisions in the Gympie Regional Council Planning Scheme 2013 (the Planning Scheme).
Recommendations are to be provided as to the appropriate location, dispersement and quantity of
Rural and Rural Residential zoned land including, appropriate lot sizes for each of these zonings. A
package of amendments and consequential amendments to the Planning Scheme is to be drafted
by the contractor to allow Council to progress the recommended amendments through the
Statutory process
