DNRME Infrastructure Management (IM) manages Abandoned Mines within the state of Queensland, through the Abandoned Mine Lands Program (AMLP). This includes care and maintenance activities in addition to improvement projects, to protect public health and safety.
This work involves interaction with a broad and diverse group of stakeholders, including government agencies, private companies, local communities, and Traditional Owner groups.
Stakeholder engagement seeks to be inclusive, respectful and effective in moving towards shared positive outcomes. Access to resources and personnel with the necessary skills, experience and judgement is an important contributor to achieving successful outcomes.
This contract is for the provision of support for engaging with Traditional Owners and RNTBC groups with native title interested in AMLP sites.
The works are on an as-requested basis from the Customer. Individual activities can be invoiced using a time-charge basis, based on actual time spent (within a pre-approved limit per activity).
The total demand for this work is unable to be defined, so an initial nominal amount is applied to this Contract. There is no commitment to utilise the full amount, and the engagement can be ceased by either side on request. Furthermore, the Contract may also be extended or otherwise varied through a formal variation.
