The Whitsunday Island Craig Trail Boardwalk and Creek Crossing Design
The Department of Environment and Science (DES) acting as the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) is inviting offers from Suppliers for the detailed design and documentation (incorporating landscape architectural and associated engineering services) for the Whitsunday Island Craig Trail walking track boardwalk and creek crossing.
The objective of the boardwalk and creek crossing project are:
Development of RPEQ certified site sympathetic design and construction solution for a 170m boardwalk and 15m creek crossing whose design will minimise disturbance to the mangrove ecosystem.
Adherence to legislated development application conditions from the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries and The Department of Environment and Science (to be supplied at contract commencement). These approvals are currently under assessment.
Opinions of Probable Cost for all aspects of construction of the boardwalk and creek crossing
A fee submission for a construction contract administrator undertaking consultation during construction phase.
