Queensland Nitrates Pty Ltd (QNP) Safety Case Safety Assessment
Queensland Nitrates Pty Ltd (QNP) is a licensed Tier 3 Major Hazard Facility (MHF) under Queensland legislation.
It is a requirement under section 582 of the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011 that the regulator must make a decision regarding an application for renewal of a major hazard facility license within a specific period after receiving the application.
To meet the mandated legislative timeframes for licensing, it is proposed that the assessment of the QNP major hazard facility license application be completed by a third-party service provider.
