Provision of a DMF (version 7) mass storage system
The Department of Environment and Science (DES) is seeking a quote from suitably qualified supplier to design and build a prototype DMF-7 system that can be converted to a production DMF-7 system within six to twelve months of installation. Any existing storage systems such as the Spectralogic T950 tape library and the HPE SUSE Enterprise Storage (ceph) cluster will be used to provide storage throughout all phases of the DMF-7 upgrade project whilst being shared with the existing DMF-6 systems.
