Aldoga North Access Road (Targinnie Road to Cullens Rd) Gladstone
The Aldoga North Access Road project will produce a road corridor which provides access from Targinie Road to Cullens Road in the northern Aldoga precinct of the Gladstone State Development Area. The construction of the North Coast Line Railway by QR National will close Flynn Road which provides the current access to this precinct. The new road corridor will be suitable for general public use and will incorporate preparatory work for the future construction of a Haul Road and route for Pre-Assembled Modules (PAMS). The documentation produced will allow the consultant to call and manage construction tenders and handover of the new public road to Gladstone Regional Council.
The Aldoga North Access Road is an item of supporting infrastructure necessary for the successful development of the Gladstone State Development Area. The provision of supporting infrastructure for the State development area is one the objectives of the Department of Planning and Infrastructure.
