| The Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) is seeking to engage a supplier under the the established Whole of Government (WoG) Standing Offier Arrangement (SOA) ICTSS.1303B, via Request for Quote (RFQ), for complete discovery, implementation, and migration of the existing Structured Query Language (SQL) & Oracle data bases to an Amazon Web Service Hybrid Relational Database Service (RDS) Elastic Compute 2 (EC2) Solution.
Objective
Reduce the operational risks currently associated with Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases
Reduce the database management overheads by moving to a managed database platform wherever possible
Reduce the number of production application outages by delivering highly available databases
The objective of this procurement is to engage a supplier for complete discovery, implementation, and migration of the SQL and Oracle Databases to Amazon Web Service (AWS). With an end goal of having a successful supplier appointed that has the overall company skill set, capabilities, and commitment to complete the Software Migration accurately, thoroughly and within the specified timeframe. With a contract period of 5 months.
