The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the proposed refurbishment to Block F at Kuraby State School, located at 1523 Beenleigh Road, Kuraby, QLD 4112, as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.
The scope of works includes refurbishments to 4 GLAs and storeroom. The position of the building is at the rear of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by January 2023.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
- Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 million
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
