| Contract No. QM 006/2023 Queensland Museum (QM) Lost Creatures Gallery - AV Multimedia Digital Design and Production
The Queensland Museum (QM) (the Customer) offered a unique opportunity and issued the Request for Quote (RFQ) with the objective of engaging suitably qualified and experienced Supplier(s), who have the required expertise in delivering high-quality audio-visual design and production for the multimedia exhibit components that will be key components of the upgrade of the Lost Creatures Gallery (LCG) exhibition.
The Lost Creatures exhibition is a permanent gallery located in the museum’s flagship campus, Queensland Museum located on Cnr Grey and Melbourne Streets, South Brisbane QLD 4101 (the Site).
Description of Goods / Services
The Contract is for the multimedia Audio Visual (AV) Design and Production Services of the LCG incorporates (in summary) the following:
- Design, production, testing, delivery, installation onto the hardware, on-site testing/commissioning, debugging, delivery source codes and master files for a total of four (4) Creative Brief and Interactives.
- Manage, communicate, coordinate and liaise with the Customer’s appointed Project Manager.
- The Supplier will develop a Deliverables program sympathetic to it’s physical and thematic context within the exhibition and will endeavour to meet QM’s accessibility requirements.
- The Supplier will consider when producing the design:
- software upgrades and updates;
- option to add additional material; and
- visitor engagement with end product.
Scope does not include the supply of any AV hardware or equipment as these will be supplied to the successful Supplier.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Industry Briefing and Site Inspections: The Suppliers attendance of QM’s Industry Briefing and Site Inspection is regarded as highly desirable. Suppliers are to ensure registration as required by the RFQ.
