The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the proposed amenities refurbishment at Forest Lake State High School, located at High Street, Forest Lake QLD 4078, as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.
The scope of works includes refurbishments to 2 amenities blocks. Works will need to be programmed in a staged approach with Stage A to be completed prior to Stage B commencing. The position of the buildings is at the front of the school with limited site access and working space. All works are to be completed by April 2023.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
- Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1 million
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
