You are invited to Tender for James Cook University's (JCU) Car Park Extension Project Works to Building 300, Townsville, Douglas Campus.
JCU are seeking Lump Sum Prices from suitably qualified contractors to undertake the scope of works outlined in this Request for Tender (RFT) document.
The Building 300 extension will provide around 60 extra car parking spaces including 4 new PWD parking bays, new walkways and new landscaping to the area. This will provide around 100 parks in total in this parking space and will give direct access to JCU’s two newest buildings as well as the recently refurbished 300 buildings and The Science Place.
JCU has an ongoing desire to provide the best student experience possible. This has been showcased recently with the opening of a brand-new state of the art Townsville Student Accommodation building housing over 400 students. JCU’s commitment to the future will be on display again with the delivery of the new Technology Innovation Complex mid next year. To accommodate the volume of people frequenting these new areas, JCU are further developing their car parking infrastructure. The Building 300 Car Park Extension is one of many projects that will be undertaken in the near future to allow safe and easy commuting to and from JCU buildings.
