The Department of Justice and Attorney-General is seeking offers for an an online digital Grant Management System to assist in the management of the Department's Indigenous Justice Program.
The Indigenous Justice Program within the Courts Innovation Program administers the Community Justice Group grant program. 10 DJAG Indigenous Justice Officers support 40 non-government organisations known as Community Justice Groups (CJGs). CJGs play an integral role in supporting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people involved with the criminal justice system in their communities.
Through this program, CJGs receive grant funding to develop and deliver strategies to address the over-representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Queensland justice system. CJGs also receive grant funding to develop culturally capable community responses to domestic and family violence in their communities, deliver cultural programs in their communities and attend specialist courts, which is administered through CIP as well.
For detailed information on the requirement, please review the attached ITO document.
