The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for the Provision of software to facilitate automated testing of various systems including SAP and associated implementation services.
The Department of Education (Customer) is seeking to establish a Contract for the provision of an Automated Testing Tool including software and services where required, to provide the Department with a sound toolset and methodology to both increase the effectiveness and reduce the effort required to test various business critical Departmental systems.
The Customer is committed to advancing the economic, environmental and social objectives of the Queensland Government, including, maximising Queensland suppliers’ opportunities to participate in government business, supporting regional and remote economies, and doing business with ethically, environmentally and socially responsible suppliers.
The Customer has issued this Invitation to Offer with the objectives of:
- Enabling business areas to receive benefits of new functionality sooner by delivering system changes quicker
- Minimising the risk of system changes causing production problems
- Improving regression coverage
- Reducing the workload related to system changes for business and systems areas.
- Improvin resource utilisation (e.g.: tests can be run overnight)
- Eliminating human error that can occur when manually testing
The scope of testing process coverage includes:
- Test management
- Impact assessment
- Test automation
- Defect Management
The scope of functionality includes:
- Unit testing
- System testing
- Integration testing
- User Acceptance Testing
- Regression testing
The Customer requires professional services with regards to the implementation of a solution in the Customer’s environment including (but not limited to):
- Project Management
- Testing SAP solutions
- Testing Microsoft Business Intelligence solutions
- Testing ServiceNow solutions
- Testing Other solutions (e.g. web based)
- Functional Consultants
- Change Management Consultants.
