The Public Trustee is seeking Proposals for Financial Planning and Aged Care Services .
The services represented in the procurement project are separated into Part A (which is divided into sub-parts 1 and 2) and Part B to provide the greatest flexibility for Proponents.
Part A
Sub-part 1
- Financial Planning Advice - for Customers with assets greater than $450,000. The Services within this sub-section will generally delivered via a Statement of Advice (SOA).
Sub-part 2
- Provision of a fit for purpose Platform including the cost of Brokerage. The Platform must be able to hold a diverse range of asset classes catering for the needs of high-net worth Customers.
Part B
- Residential Aged Care Funding Advice – for advice about Aged Care accommodation funding options for Customers.
The nature of these services and the expectations of PTQ are defined in Part 2 Specification of this document
N.B. Proponents may provide a response to Part A or B, or both. If Proponents make a response to Part A, then sub-parts 1 and 2 must both be addressed.
Where the successful proponent(s) are not the existing supplier it is anticipated that some Customers may have a preference to remain with the existing service provider, and that other existing and new Customers will utilise the services of the successful proponents on an incremental basis over the first 12 months.
Should a panel of providers be deemed the most appropriate outcome, then PTQ Customers will have their views, wishes and preferences considered by the PTQ in determining the selection of the service provider.
