142 Foster & Kinship Care Placements for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people South West
The Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs is seeking to contract an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation (ACCO) or Indigenous Business (IB) to provide Foster and Kinship Care placements to support 142 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children subject to child protection orders. The contract period is to be three years. The successful supplier must be an ACCO or IB, or if in a partnership, the partnership must be led by an ACCO or IB. The successful supplier must also demonstrate the ability to apply the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child Placement Principle in the delivery of services, an ability to employ Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and to ensure a culturally safe workplace.
Industry Briefing Details:
An industry briefing is scheduled for 2:00pm to 2:45pm on Tuesday 2 August 2022.
The Industry Briefing will be used to raise awareness of Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) and Indigenous Businesses (IBs) of the opportunity to submit a tender to supply as per the terms of the RFQ for DCYJMA123
