| The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of a refurbishment of Teaching Block 2 at Emerald North SS, located at Campbell Street, Emerald QLD 4720, as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement (SIE) program.
The works include complete refurbishment of four (4) general learning classrooms and breakout space to enhance the existing facilities, with new joinery, flooring, painting, acoustic treatments and new services. The position of the building is at the front of the school with easy site access and ample working space. All works are to be completed by June 2023.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
·Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
·Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1 Million
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
