| The purpose of this ITO is to seek offers from selected Suppliers who possess the capabilities, capacity and experience to undertake a review of the Gambling Community Benefit Fund. The Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) was first established in 1994 under the Gaming Machine Act 1991. The GCBF has not had an external review since Queensland Treasury commissioned an independent evaluation in 2003.
DJAG are committed to ensuring that grant funding from the GCBF continues to be administered through the lens of integrity and trust and are seeking to engage an external contractor to undertake a review of the GCBF.
The objectives of the review are to ensure the operation of the fund:
- is contemporary and fit for purpose
- is underpinned by robust systems and good governance
- is accountable and transparent in all activities, and
- maintains the public’s trust in accountable, transparent, and neutral decision making while achieving value for money.
