| The Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs invites qualified supplier to deliver a Training Needs Analysis for Queensland Youth Detention Centres
Youth detention service delivery is currently in a period of reform, with several initiatives underway that will significantly change the capability requirements for youth detention staff. Structural and functional changes are also progressing, which may create future opportunities for new structural efficiencies to be achieved, particularly in relation to recruitment and Detention Youth Worker (DYW) induction training.
Accordingly, a revision of the training regime for Queensland’s youth detention centres is required to support the reform agenda. Expert advice is sought from an external experienced learning and development practitioner in the form of a Training Needs Analysis (TNA), to set a forward training curriculum for the next five years.
The recommended supplier will be required to develop a contemporary learning strategy, identify a curriculum of appropriate training programs, and provide advice and recommendations on a range of topics, including structural alignments and training processes, delivery modes, evaluation, and governance.
